Congratulations to Mike Randall, Greeter of the Year for 2009!

The Greeters 2010 Roster has been emailed to all who have paid their 2010 dues. The Roster is also in the files section of the Greeters Yahoo Group.

The next Greeters Stated meeting will be on March 10th at our shed.

The St. Patrick's Day parade will be on Saturday, March 13th. The parade organisers have asked the Shrine to reduce the number of vehicles in the parade. One of the vehicles that was removed was the Greeters bus. Greeters are still expected to participate in the parade, but they will be riding on other vehicles.

Despite this disappointing turn of events, this is a really fun parade, and there is a large number of vendors nearby to enable us to pass the time until the parade steps off. We muster at 6th & Ivy no later than 10am. The parade steps off at 11am. If you would like a ride from the Shrine, please be at the shed no later than 9am.

Don't forget the corned beef & cabbage dinner at the Shrine following the parade!

The next Shrine Stated Meeting will be on Friday, April 16th. Greeters in the uniform of the day are needed at the door no later than 15 minutes before the start of the evening's activities.

Later that month, on Monday, April 26th the Imperial Potentate will be visiting the Al Bahr Shrine. It is imperative that Greeters in the uniform of the day be at the door for this event. The first thing the Imperial Potentate should encounter upon entering the shrine is the outstetched hand of a Greeter.

Dues notices for 2010 have been mailed. Please send in your dues as soon as possible. If your address has changed, please contect the 2009 President.
